Mindfulness-Based Social Emotional Learning (MBSEL) is an approach that integrates mindfulness practices with social and emotional learning principles. This approach empowers students and educators with practical skills for emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills, fostering a sense of connection and belonging within the school community.

Benefits of MBSEL in schools include:

For Your Students: Improved focus and emotional regulation, better conflict resolution and empathy, reduced stress and increased resilience, and greater awareness leading to healthier choices, equipping them with a life-long toolset for well-being.

For You, the Educator: Practical stress management tools to prevent burnout, enhanced classroom management through calm and mindful responses, and stronger communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.

For Your School Community: A positive, supportive learning environment, reduced behavioral issues, happier and more balanced school staff, and shared language and practices that unite the entire school, cultivating a culture of kindness and belonging.

Our Current Mini Mindfulness Program Offerings

In fall 2025, we are excited to launch a new initiative that brings short-term, customizable mindfulness programs to schools. Not only does this allow us to expand our impact in the community, but it also gives schools an opportunity to explore what it could look like to integrate mindfulness into their campus. This initiative will also serve as an opportunity to “seed” and evaluate schools for our Leading with Mindfulness full-time coach program.
